Harlequin Rasboras have a large triangular spot on their body. Their body color consists of red, purple and blue colors. At maturity, the Harlequin Rasbora will reach a size of one to two inches.

The Harlequin Rasbora is easy to care for, and makes a great fish for beginners. They should be kept in water with a temperature range from 72 to 81 degrees Fahrenheit. The pH level of their water should be between 6.6 and 7.5, and should be soft. Harlequin Rasboras should be fed tubifex worms, small mosquito larvae, cyclops, and daphnia, as well as freeze dried and flake foods. The Harlequin Rasboras is susceptible to Ick.
