Harlequin Rasboras are pleasing to look at. They are a colorful fish, and are a great choice for adding lots of colors to an aquarium with the size. Harlequin Rasboras have a large triangular spot on their body. Their body color consists of red, purple and blue colors. At maturity, the Harlequin Rasbora will reach a size of one to two inches.

Health

The Harlequin Rasbora is easy to care for, and makes a great fish for beginners. They should be kept in water with a temperature range from 72 to 81 degrees Fahrenheit. The pH level of their water should be between 6.6 and 7.5, and should be soft. Harlequin Rasboras should be fed tubifex worms, small mosquito larvae, cyclops, and daphnia, as well as freeze dried and flake foods. The Harlequin Rasboras is susceptible to Ick. However, care should be taken when treating these fish, as they are very sensitive to chemicals. Breeding The Harlequin Rasbora is fairly easy to breed. Red-leafed plants should be in their aquarium.
